Group Therapy.

Do you feel alone in your struggles or as if you’re missing out on a community of support? Does it seem like your needs aren’t being met when sharing your problems with others you are close with?

It seems like they just don’t get it. They don’t understand how you’re feeling or what you’re going through. Maybe you need a place where you can feel heard. A place that houses individuals just like you, who may experience the same as you.

GROUP THERAPY IS THAT PLACE, WITH PEERS WHO GET IT.

Group therapy is great for those who need a safe space, with people who understand and support you. In a group therapy setting, you can develop self-awareness as you express your issues and also listen to others share similar issues as you.

MY APPROACH IN THERAPY.

My approach to therapy is interactive, understanding, and sincere. I’m not here to judge you or make you feel ashamed about anything that you share with me. I’m here to listen to you.

I believe therapy requires team work. I collaborate with my clients by developing a treatment plan, together, to fit your needs.

I use various evidence-based techniques to better help you reach your goals such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.

To ensure you are receiving effective treatment, I will ask for your feedback during our work together. I understand your time is valuable, as well as your investment in yourself.

If you or anyone you know are struggling with these issues, and others, please feel free to reach out.

How to get started.

STEP ONE —

Book a free, 15-minute phone consultation here. This consultation is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and to see if you are a good fit for the group.

STEP TWO —

If you are a good fit, you will receive intake paperwork to be filled out, and then we will schedule a 50-minute initial session. During this first session, we will discuss group rules, your current situation, relevant history and your goals. This will allow me to gather important information as it relates to the group.

STEP THREE —

Lastly, we will meet in the group setting weekly.
